Girl’s Talk, the new accessories shop at Clark Quay Mall aka Central retails in hair accessories n jewelries from Japan.

Its located at the ground floor, easily spotted due to the bright lighting of the shop. The layout of the shop is clean n simple but the display of the items are at best creative, to some, chaotic. They place all item casually around a large rectangular table with layers and holders. So there could be some clips on the left side, hairbands around it, rings and necklaces dangling around. The items are grouped according to color, mainly black, white, green, pink, yellow, and brown. So if you spotted a ring pattern you like, it will be best to walk around the table and see if you can get another in a diferent color on another part of the table. Quite tiring coz you will have to strain your eyes to look as if you are looking for a needle in a haystack. Likewise, you can ask for assistance but i found out tat the salesgal uses the same primitive method and later on my second walk-about, i spotted my pink hair-tyer which she failed to pick up earlier on.

It was fruitful everytime i enter the shop, i had to resist buying everything. The first time, there was a 20% discount and this time, purchase over $30 entitles you to a pack of acrylic stick-ons. Pity they are too big to be put onto my nails..lol

So go and visit the shop if you’re in the area……

Oh yea, forgot to mention that the all items are imported in one piece, so probably cant find these at the shop since i got it now.=P

well, every yr, we set resolutions for the new year ahead and how many of us actually achieve it….so for this year, im actually goin to set promises that can be fulfilled!

#1 - Resist wearing cny clothes b4 cny! Difficulty level: Easy peasy

#2 - Spend at least a few minutes per day to look at ferfer (kids grow soo fast!) Difficulty level: depend on how late he comes home…

#3 - Try to save another $—— this year….Difficulty level: High bt must try

#4 - Limit tantrum throwing to 5 per mth. Difiiculty level: extremely high…lol

*Thats it for now, shall add on when i tink of somemore!

Revamped for the new 2007, the piglets of the club took on the new challenges that lie ahead…..for a start, new titles are given to each piglet to identify their new beginnings.

Baby MOMO = meaning peach, sweet on the outlook and sweet in the inside as well…in short…DAMN SWEET!

Baby HANA = literally means flower

Baby KIRA = glitter, bling blings and everything nice…

Baby BUTA = means lil pig, so symbolizes the piggies club the most..

Baby NISHI =  means West

All given according to a unique trait in each piggie’s self….since it is a code name, nothing more should be revealed…=P

Well, i did say its a summary =)

Anyway, i tink im gona b sick….great…been spending whole of last few weeks getting sick and den it came in the new year! Alright Santa, i get your message…..

So this is wat lazy ppl do….typed a few words and call it a BLOG!

Which actually refers to the chrysanthemum that has a huge cameo role in the entire movie, mentioned by almost every actors/actresses in the movie and appear in almost every scene….

It wasnt that bad, but it wasnt that good either.

Costumes were beautiful, interior design of the palace was speechless…..well..it is after Zhang Yimou’s movie…no expense was spare for the visual pleasure of the audience…though quite frankly the palace design which seems like a mixture of chinese architecture and indian colours (gold n red) makes the eyes ache after staring at the big screen for a while…..my sympathy goes out to the cast members who have to ‘live’ in it……

Storyline was good…so far of all the movies i watched this year….ending was sad but typical….the only downside is that the pace was too fast, ending was too abrupt…they could have elaborated abit more which was surprising, esp since chinese flicks are often lengthy n naggy….

Jay wasnt tat bad as an actor, thou i half expected him to break into chinese rap whenever he opens his mouth…..

k, money wasnt wasted on this one…….onto the NEXT flick…..

Saw 3! thats the number of times you have to watch in order to digest all the gory details…..storyline wise was intriguing, full of twists n ending was a surprise…sth unexpected and unbelievable….BUT do they have to use soo much ketchup for the bloody scenes!!

N whoever tell me that Eragon was nice FORGOT to tell me that it has a sequel!! i feel so cheated wor, especially wen the credits come rolling out….

Anyway another lotr-alike movie….haha, as anyone who has read my past blogs, im a huge lotr fan and any fantasy movie thats coming up will be compared to them in any possible way i can find, even rite down to the last blade of the leaf….

But the similarities are immerse…..we got;

- a reluctant hero in making (Eragon aka Frodo)

- guardian-protector-mentor (Brom aka Gandalf + Aragon)

- an egg that only hatches when it sense its owner thus the evil ring that only reveals itself to ppl it wans as owner

- running away from pursuers sent by the evil wizard (Durza aka Saruman)

n many more alike scenes…..still it wasnt a bad movie….ha! but LOTR still comes out tops!

This movie has the words ‘boys boys boys! Man Man Man! Uncle Uncle Uncle!’ all over it……in short a film that all males will want to watch but all female species will want to avoid….

Ok so we have the ever-gorgeous looking Andy in it but the story could involve more enticing battle scene…even the fire was digitally created, makes it hard for me to imagine the pain of the soldiers who got burnt to death when all i can imagine is those extras pretend to roll about in pain and scream in anguish when there is nothing there at all…..

It looks similar to LOTR….the thousands of army neatly in line surrounding the small kingdom….Andy the Knight in shining armour depicts the role of Gandalf coming to the rescue of Liang…..Ok…i wasnt being fair, the movie wasnt being fair to me either!

I struggle to stay awake for the 2 hours, yawning numerous time…its a wonder how the rest of the audience wasnt killed by the CO2 that im creating….

But the movie ended on a sad note, n alot of unexpected death which is the only merit point the movie will get from me…..

In short; Im better off watching the rerun of LOTR 1, 2 OR 3…..lol
