Shiteric!

Tats my fav phrase nowadays, seems like ived been using it almost everyday…damn, means my days aint tat good…

Cant get used to workin after being away for like a week, its like im still in Kor and my body is jus here montonously workin away through a routine.

Been buying stuff and eating all my fav food since i got back, it feels like ived been deprived of shoppin n eating while im there….ahhh i din get broke goin to korea, i got broke coming bk to Spore!

This friday is teacher’s day and for the first time, the piggies club aint goin bk for a visit…..sobzzz….was so eager to show off my new boots….lol

Guess we will have to make up for it the next time or during speech day, i guess.

There are fewer of the teachers who taught us remain in te school. Every yr, the visting time needed gets shorter n shorter……so sad….

Time flew by so fast, n it feels like it wasnt too long ago, i was still a librarian in sec school and slacking away in the storeroom, pretendin that wrappin the books is the top priority of my life and i shouldnt b disturbed at all cost!

Now…..im just sitting here bloggin away….pretending that the email im typing is the most impt thing im doin rite now n a vicious stare is given to anyone who dares to interrupt me! lol…..not much difference eh, jus a change of environment.

Back in sing ler! N the 1st thing i did was shopping!

Following the advice of Julius Cesaer……i came i saw n i conquered! The results of the shopping war is a pair of boots n a unique bag from Ebase! That boots have been spotted waaaaay back in the couple of months back but bcoz of tat NOT so USEFUL GSS, the black version was snapped up pretty fast n left with the maroon colored ones….nonetheless, i still fancy it n went to several places to check for my sizes but all my efforts were futile….sighs….

Then wen i went to ebase at MSq today, i saw it again n request for my size, expecting the salesgal to come bk n tell me that its no longer avail….but lo behold! she cm bk with a box n i SWEAR the boots glimmer n blinded my eyes for  a second when the box was opened! I tried it n with a few half-hearted encouragement fr P1, i bought it! lol 

N saw this really ‘different’ bag on the rack n i tot wat the heck, n took it off…..bought it too! Guess im greatly deprived of shoppin when i was in Korea…..it felt great to b BACK! woohoo, almos kissed the floor wen i landed at the changi airport!

Then of coz, the last B stands for my BAOBEI! ever as cute n adorable, he cheered me up as soon as i spotted him….

ermmm, basically he just look at me with those saucer-like eyes and my mood jus felt a whole lot better!

I duno y P1 don’t want to come back to spore, but me?? i cant WAIT to come bk sia!!

I miss the citylink, heeren, HMV, my bed, my ferfer, the food and most importantly i dun hv to keep calculating to see if that item is worth for money!! In short, i miss CONVENIENCE!!

Im so gona shop like crazy wen i get bk…..weird huh?? lol

I din buy anyting, cept for a few accessories which i bought just for the sake of buyin althou i do tink they can be found in spore….afterall its the korean craze in spore now….n mnged to get a few nice souvenirs for my frens n colleagues so that they dun tink tat im being SELFISH n only shop for myself…..

The thing about goin on holiday is that i always worried about wat to buy bk for the others bk in singapore more than enjoying the shoppin trip myself….phew….next time if im on holiday, im NOT tellin anyone!

Oh rite, i have the whole day free cus of the misunderstanding over the dates of the conference. It ended yesterday and everything was packed in a rush coz of last minute awareness. So this mornin, i slept in slightly later and took my time in the bathroom, in front of the TV and back to the bathroom again…..then leisurely wander down to the cafe and had my breakfast…..thou its a bit bored eating alone….i miss yong tau fu!! shity….gotto make up for it wen im back in spore!

NOw im in the korean office….basically doin wat im doin in spore office everyday…..NOTHING! lol, now im bloggin this, theres no way im ever goin to let any of my colleagues add me to their friendster!!

Few things i realise i love about spore now that im experiencing another new culture… our walkway, roadside, pedestrian road…watever u call it. Man! the roads in korea are practically shared by humans n vehicles. Even if you walk on the roadside designed for WALKING, cars can still drive up onto tat road to park or to cut the car in front of them! Basically, you have to keep your eyes open for any cars or bikes that might b coming at you from the back, side, or even front! Sometimes we do take the safety in spore for granted!

And a great news to all unempolyed! Come to korea and be a maid! Whereas in spore, we pay ard S$900-S$1000 per month for a maid. In korea, its rather expensive, about $2000 won JUST for someone to come in daily and clean the house for you! GOsh, wat a difference….almost choke on my kimchi when i heard that….lol

Kimchi was great, or mayb i jus happen to taste the one thats suitable to my palette. NOnetheless, seoul far seoul good=P B

My colleagues were even thinkin of takin me to clubbin tonite….shity again….i ahvent done any shopping yet coz they had to work OT yest nite…..so being the ever gracious me…..said tat its all rite if they are not free….mayb i’ll sneak in a couple of hours of shoppin after lunch.

I guess being a chinese, im always goin to prefer chinese cuisine. As much as exciting as the korean food are…in the long term i still miss all the great food in spore. I guess it really takes a journey to realise how much things you always take for granted in your life. Sighzzz…..but of coz wen im back in spore, i’ll probably miss korea! I know I know, im always been fickled minded!

in korea, but feels at home! mayb i will stay here permanently….! Yes, its always thrilling and exciting to b in a new place but i can forsee that after a few weeks of stay, i may miss home. I am oredi homesick even b4 i board that flight. My trip to korea got off the worst of all starts, for all SIA are famous for, no airline seats are ever goin to replace the real BED. I have tried at least a dozen positions except lying upside down in order to get a short nap…. but none works, i watched in amaze that the guy next to me could doze off within seconds….i control my impuse to shake him awake and ask for his holy advice! N y couldnt he b a cute guy, so at least my tired eyes can have sth beautiful to look at….lol.

When i reached the airpot, my chauffeur was not in sight and i had to call the hotel to clarify the waiting area, as if the flight was not torturous enough, i had to endure an hour of travel from the airport to the hotel. For the first time in my life, i tink i have car sickness….

You think thats the end of my nightmare?? so did i! til i enter my hotel room and saw this really comfty bed BUT i cant slp in it for another 12 hours coz im supposed to go to the conference fair right away….! Wat have i done to deserve this! No im not askin god, im askin my boss!

Strange thou, my eyes felt tired but the rest was energetic, perhaps of work…. wen you’re occupied with sth, you forget about fatigue. Later that nite, my lovely colleagues took me out to eat the famous korean bbq meat and it was nice…sort of like the chinese roasted pork….of coz the sauce was wat makes the difference.

N alot of small stuff that Koreans use to provide better service, stuff that we shld have in Spore. Anyway, the conference is held at COEX building which is sth similar to our Suntec bcoz its the main place where all major conferences are held with small shops below for tourists as well as locals. Although, some shop helpers do not speak english, but its okay….theres always THE body language….. a wink and a kiss will do the job! lol

They will be bringin me out shoppin tonite, but i wun get carried away or by anything insight till i see sth unique. Even my colleagues prefer shoppin in singapore! They say its really cheap in spore, esp the shoes. Which i totally agree, so sorry if you are expectin me to go bankrupt at the end of my trip! Jus to give you an idea; the taxi fare alone cost me slightly over S$100 for a one way trip, simple fruit juice easily up to S$7 plus… lucky i can claim for all this! Yea….i can claim for them eh…..hmmm (*smiling wickedly)

Oh yea and a piece of great news! Finally! theres was actually a misunderstanding in the period of the conference. We thought it was goin to end on thur but jus found out that it will b over TODAY! which means i can slp in late tml mornin and mayb jus pop by the office for lunch or sth…..haha, finally can try the taitai lifestyle!

k, gtg….we r keepin the stuff now at 3pm! mayb can catch some winks bk at my hotel!

Well, theoretically thats quite true since no one in Korea knows who i am except my colleagues over there!

Havent travelled alone before, mixed emotions of nervousness and anticipation…

Din they say that always live today like there’s no tomorrow….so shld i write a will or sth before i board that flight at 11.50pm to b exact…..

I dont have much valuables to be distributed, only a whole lot of instructions….

to FerFer; stop gettin my CDs out and stack them up like the Pisa Tower! Don’t think i won’t know coz theres drool all over my room!

to P4; U gotto to choose Mr Perfect by Renee as one of ur audition songs! Its toooo perfect for u, gal! Get out there and rock the world! N im goin to b ur PR agent wen u win it ah, i said it first!

to P1; For all the worries and doubts, you know its a once in a life time chance, so go and do ur best. No regrets! thats the rule of the day!

to Pipi; someday somehow i will get there to see you and we will watch the sun rises and sun sets together till we puke! lol

to U (the problematic child as you once called urself); there was supposed to b sth here but u dun deserve such well-wishes for the things u did…

to Bluestar; someone out there somewhere is your soulmate waiting for you, all is needed is the perfect time and the perfect place.  All good things are worth waiting! (*Im sorry for creating things tat were never supposed to happen, if i had know….)
